This week I have been cataloging our Transistors and Diodes. It is quite an assortment of relic's from the past. They used lots of gold in those days. Hope you enjoy this selection from hundreds of different part numbers recently placed on eBay (ACP Surplus). If you have any historical info to share please let us know. Thanks Dave Freeman www.acpsurplus.com
Old Vintage Ceramic and CERDIP parts are becoming very difficult to find. Some of the manufacturers are long gone so the collectiblilty factor is going up on old parts like these. Please revisit as we will be adding many more IC's in the family. Also more on eBay as well! Thanks for your continued interest... Dave Freeman
As I continue to look further into my warehouse I am amazed at some of the old treasures that I find. Problem is I do not have enough time in the day to catalog and place them on the blog or eBay. Here a few classic old Linear IC's that I recently added to my collection. Some I placed on eBay as I had extras.... Dave
Some chips just look better in my display case than others! Sometimes gold can be vivid and just blow you away like the PMI 741 Metal Can Linear parts (see earlier post) from the early 1970's. Others have a nice patina and age very nicely. Here are some I like that i discovered recently. I have a few of these listed on acpsurplus on our eBay store so check them out of you are interested. Thanks Dave
I am still amazed by Old Integrated Circuits and Processors and I am not alone. With old CPU's becoming more and more difficult to find combined with gold surpassing $1000 per ounce collecting gold IC's and components is growing incredibly fast! I have trouble keeping critical parts in my collection as the demand is so great! My collector customers do come first as I collect to support their collection. In the past couple years we have shipped to all corners of the world. Collecting CPU's is truly worldwide! So here are a few new items that I have picked up lately. Thanks for your support!
